Bought bag for winter boy scout campouts. It kept my son warm. He could not roll the bag at the end of the weekend because it is very slick and doesn't have any tie or elastic straps to keep it rolled. It did not fit in the storage bag either. I emailed customer service and received a snide comment in return from David Taft telling me to "just stuff the sleeping bag right in." Could they have sent a larger storage bag or offered to let me purchase a larger bag?

My son specifically asked for this sleeping bag for Christmas. He wanted camping gear to camp with friends. After looking at the price, i thought there was no way we could afford this bag while buying the other gear he wanted to. We wound up buying a bag from Kmart. Then, around Christmas these guys ran a 20% sale. How could we resist? We bought this bag, for $20 difference with the sale price than what the Kmart bag cost. We took that one back. If we had known this bag was so great, we would have managed to figure out how to buy this one in the first place. It is an awesome bag, big enough for a big big guy, and comfortable. He loves it and that makes us happy!

I suffer from RLS (Restless Leg Snydrome) This bag is heaven sent for me as I also like the Mummy style head thingum (bald). More leg room than I could believe, but I forgot I am also chubby so it is a little tight, but still fine. THE PROBLEM WITH THIS BAG is that the ZIPPER DOES NOT CUT IT. I have been using it now for about 3 weeks. (I sleep cold nose (no heat at night). No clothes either, and I freeze before I get it all snugged in. THAT ZIPPER NEEDS TO BE FIXED, ALSO the roll that covers it has started to come apart so it is going back. I bought it from them as every other place was sold out. I paid full price and see Campmor is selling it $20.00 cheaper. I would like to hope my comments are taken seriously. It helps us all if we are all working together. Then we all have a :<))

I took this sleeping bag to Pinnacles National Monument (CA) during the month of December while on a prescribed fire assignment. It got down to 18 degrees in the campground that night. No problems keeping warm in the Esplanade 0 however I did have to wear some medium weight fleece. This bag is too heavy for hiking into "backcountry fire use" but I'm sure its fine for fire camp.
